how much will it all cost?
Much of what I do takes time, rather than materials, to complete. Whether it’s designing a layout for a new brochure or writing the code for a web application, it’s my time that I charge for.
If I do incur third-party costs on your behalf (e.g. printing, domain-name registration, web hosting fees) I will pass those costs on to you and only charge a minimal administration fee.
If you ask me to
quote on a project,
I will usually give
you a fixed price
for the complete job.
I offer a free initial consultation, during which we will discuss your project and I can get a good idea of your requirements. I can then recommend a solution that best meets your needs and provide you with an obligation free quote.
I will usually quote you a fixed price; however, in rare instances, I will quote an hourly rate if it’s difficult to determine how much time would be required to complete your project.
Alternatively, if you know exactly what you are after and don’t require customised functionality, one of my ‘off-the-shelf’ web design & development packages may provide the most cost-effective option.
standard hourly rate
I also provide ad-hoc development services, at a rate of $75 per hour, for things like:
- updates to existing websites
- writing technical specifications
- business analysis and documentation
- rewrites or extensive modifications to the scope of a quoted project.
